Trigger Point (TP) / Myofascial Release
Trigger Point therapy and Myofascial Release use pressure and stretching to relieve the irritated, painful spots in muscle tissue that can be felt in a distant area of the body, i.e. a TP in the shoulder can cause migraine headaches. Pressure is produced using fingertips, knuckles or elbow pressure directly on the trigger point, followed by stretching. Brings immediate pain relief and greater flexibility.

This technique is especially helpful in the treatment of headaches, digestive problems, PMS and painful periods, acute or chronic sinus congestion, etc. Just as effective as Acupuncture … without the needles!

Reflexology has its origins in almost every ancient civilization. It is believed that the sole of the foot represents a map of the body and by stimulating certain organ reflex points on the foot the organs itself are being worked on. Reflexology is great to support detoxification of the body, promotes relaxation, sleep, speeds metabolism and supports organ sufficiency. Traditionally an hour treatment but can be added to any other massage as a half hour treatment.
Massage & Meditation
The perfect combination for guaranteed relaxation. 30-minute guided meditation (CD) before your massage treatment relaxes and quiets your mind already before you receive your massage for maximum results often times clients don’t start relaxing until 30 minutes into their treatment. If this sounds familiar this might be a good addition to your treatments.
During a session of this ancient form of alternative medicine, a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. Cupping therapy helps with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and can be used as a type of deep-tissue massage to break up scar tissue and reduce pain.
Several aromatherapy oils are used during our treatments at no charge.
